Education Building

The new Education Building, a 160,000-square foot building, located just steps from the Physical Education Complex broke ground earlier this year and and will be a welcoming beacon in our community. This state-of-the-art signifies university modernization, enhanced teaching and learning that will provide many benefits for the entire NEIU community.

Construction Information

Beginning the week of February 24, construction fencing will be placed around the perimeter of the construction site. This fencing will affect the front entrance of the Physical Education Complex. The new Education Building will impact parking and pedestrian walkways so please refer to the wayfinding. The anticipated completion for NEIU's new Education Building is Summer 2027.

• Our facility will be closed Wednesday, December 17th to Friday, December 19th due to court resurfacing.
• The men's and women's steam room is out of order.
