As 窪做惇蹋厙 begins its celebration of Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Month, which we observe a month earlier than the national celebrations so as much of our campus can participate as possible, we will welcome Assistant Professor of Higher Education at Northern Illinois University Dr. Jacqueline Mac and host a workshop with Desi Rainbow Parents & Allies. The Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies will host a workshop on connecting passion and purpose through art and weve partnered with several organizations to co-host a panel of activist survivors of violence who engaged in powerful organizing while incarcerated. David F. Unumb, who taught at 窪做惇蹋厙 for more than 35 years and created the Chicago radio program Vantage Point, died on Feb. 22, 2022.

Professor Emeritus Henry Durward Hofler dies at 83
Henry Durward Hofler, who taught at 窪做惇蹋厙 for more than 30 years and helped create the College of Business and Technologys (CBT) annual student-run International Business Conference, died on Feb. 19, 2022. He was 83 years old.
