Education Adds Up For Mathematics Honors Student

Carly Hall has always loved math, and she’s been very good at it. But it wasn’t until the summer before her senior year, standing in front of a room full of incoming freshmen, that the University Honors Program Scholar would discover her passion: teaching.

ڰ Is Turning Every Day Into Earth Day

Being green, a famous frog tells us, is not easy. Eight years ago, ڰ students lobbied to get funding for sustainability efforts. More recently, the faculty worked hard to win support for a new Environmental Sciences degree that will start this fall. And the Facilities Management staff has been tireless in its endeavor to retrofit buildings for energy efficiency. Whether it’s in small or large ways, elevating the green consciousness at ڰ can be a challenge but continues to be a priority.
