Getting to El Centro
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø El Centro is in close proximity to main roads, the expressway and public transportation. It is located at 3390 North Avondale Avenue, less than three miles south of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø’s Main Campus. El Centro is just west of Kimball Avenue and adjacent to the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94), making it easy to access from all parts of the city.
By Chicago Public Transit (CTA)
El Centro is accessible via the following bus routes: Kimball (82), Addison (152) and Belmont (77). It is walking distance from the Belmont Blue Line station.
By Car
From the North: Drive south on Kimball Avenue and turn right onto Avondale Avenue.
From the East: Drive west on Belmont Avenue and turn right onto Kimball Avenue. Proceed northbound for a short distance and turn left onto Avondale Avenue.
From the South: Drive north on Kimball Avenue and turn left onto Avondale Avenue.
From the West: Drive east on Belmont Avenue and turn left onto Kimball Avenue. Proceed northbound for a short distance and turn left onto Avondale Avenue.
From O’Hare International Airport: Take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90E) east to the Kimball exit and turn left onto Kimball Avenue. Proceed northbound for a short distance and turn left onto Avondale Avenue.
From Chicago’s Loop: Take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94W) northwest to the Kimball exit. Merge onto Avondale Avenue.
