The LSAT

The Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) is administered through the Law School Admissions Commission (LSAC).  The LSAT consists of Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, and Argumentative Writing. It takes 3.5 hours to complete, and the score is valid for 5 years. The LSAT is offered 7 times a year, and applicants can take it up to 3 times a year and 5 times within the past 5 years, with a lifetime limit of 7 times. LSAC/LSAT fee waivers are available for those who qualify.
