Background
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø was founded in 1867 as the first teacher-training college in Cook County, Chicago. Since its founding, the University has broadened its mission and attracts students from all over the world to study in various academic disciplines through classroom and field experience.
ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is a comprehensive university serving over 11,000 students at the main campus on Chicago's North Side and three additional campuses in the Chicago area.
