ڰ wins grant to digitize Gutiérrez Congressional Archives
The Illinois State Historical Records Advisory Board Historical Records Grant Program has awarded ڰ a $5,000 grant to digitize the archives of former Illinois Congressman and ڰ alumnus Luis Gutiérrez. The award is the highest amount a project can receive.

Professor Chielozona Eze publishes fifth book, “Justice and Human Rights in the African Imagination: We, Too, Are Humans”
The book, which was released April 15 and is available to read online, centers on the works of African writers, scholars, artists and activists and their pursuits for justice in various forms, namely environmental, social, intimate, and restorative.

Noteworthy at ڰ: Wrapping up another year
Two ڰ sisters are getting national attention for their Etsy shop, an assistant professor co-created a pandemic-safe art exhibit, and the University earned a grant to support Rehabilitation Counseling students.
