ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Department of History Assistant Professor Joshua Salzmann and Associate Dean of Libraries Dave Green have co-authored a grant proposal that was awarded $4,999 by the . The proposal was titled “Unlocking Chicago’s History: A Guide to Conducting Research in Chicago City Government Records.â€

They will lead a team of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø librarians and researchers in tracking down the scattered, sometimes hidden records of the city of Chicago dating from 1833 to the dawn of the 21st century.

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s team will create a multimedia, text-and-video guide to using city government documents. The guide will be made available to students, scholars, and librarians on the website of the .
